Lombok Island is the largest island in the group of islands in NTB Province. Here there are 5 administrative regions: Mataram City, West Lombok Regency, East Lombok Regency, North Lombok Regency, and Central Lombok Regency. The island is only about 5 hours away by ferry from Bali Island.

The small islands that surround Lombok Island are called the Gilis. There are 3 Gilis which are a favorite for tourists to do snorkeling, diving, and fishing activities including Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Gili Meno. Not only the three Gilis, other Gilis in this group of islands also have a beautiful charm. Lombok Island holds a lot of interesting tourist attraction. Ranging from nature, culture, to religion. One of them is Tete Batu.

Tete Batu is a village in the district of Sikut, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. One of the charms of the beauty of the scenery at the foot of Mount Rinjani is in the village of Tete Batu which has a very beautiful mountain and rice field panorama. Because of its beauty, Tete Batu was made a tourist village by the East Lombok Government. Tete Batu has a land contour formation like an elongated canyon. Beautiful views of the canyon formed by lush green rice fields. Tetebatu area is known for Vanilla, Cacao, Macadamia, Tomatoes, Long Beans, Soja, Lombok-Coffee, Pepper, Papaya, Avocado, Jack fruits, Lemons, Coconut and Chili.
Black monkeys are living in the trees, if you are lucky you will see whole monkey-families crossing your way in the Forests.   This is the attraction of Tete Batu that makes many tourists flock to visit there.

We would like to guide you on one of the many paths around our village and show you the beautiful scenery, Rice-Paddies,Monkey-Forest, Waterfalls and Life.
A waterfall like Air Terjun Jeruk Manis is reached via a pleasant two hour walk through charming rice paddies.
Monkey Forest is a gentle 4 km walk north of Tetebatu. Expect lots of macaques and some pleasant scenery and waterfalls.
We can also drive you with our motor-cycles to the villages around to bring you to the places where you can see the weaving and traditional handicraft.
