Trekking Tetebatu Rinjani for Sangkareang Mountain – 2 Days 1 Night
Experience the stunning journey from the charming village of Tetebatu to the campsite at 2,350 meters, overlooking the breathtaking Tetebatu Crater Lake. On the second day, continue your adventure with an early morning hike to the summit of Sangkareang Mountain at 3,200 meters to witness a spectacular sunrise. After soaking in the panoramic views, trek back to the campsite before descending to Tetebatu village — all within an unforgettable two-day, one-night adventure.

Activity Duration
This program spans 2 days and 1 night, with the following schedule:
- 1 day of travel on the pick-up day (arrival day)
- 2 days of mountain activities starting from Tetebatu (hiking, trekking, and camping)

Types of Services Available:
- Standard: Standard service is intended for trekkers who are accustomed to mountain climbing and are accustomed to makeshift equipment but that does not mean it is uncomfortable. In this condition it is usually reserved for those who order sharing packages with climbers from various countries and are required to be able to adjust to their individual conditions and personalities. For example, in one tent we share with others because the tent we use is a tent with a capacity of 2 people, using a mattress that is not thick (this will be problematic for those who have basic back problems) as well as the food and drinks available.
- Deluxe: In the Deluxe service type, you already have an extraordinary level of comfort, starting from equipment such as tents, soft mattresses, getting pillows, trekking poles, head lamps and other supporting facilities. You can also order food according to your wishes. We try to provide services like a 5-star hotel with existing standard climbing facilities, such as chairs and tables when eating, porters who serve every time with asusmi 1 climber served by 1 porter. Warm drinks at night such as beer and so on.
2 Days 1 Night Tetebatu Rinjani Trekking & Sangkareang Mountain.
Arrival Day (Day 0):
- We will come to pick you up upon your arrival in Lombok Island, then transfer to Tetebatu village and drive for 2-3 hours in an air-conditioned private car.
- Check in at the hotel in Tetebatu, then meet your guide, who gives you a briefing, describes the route details, and all about your program. Free at your own leisure
Day One Trekking:
- After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive you to Tetebatu Rinjani gate in our car for 10 minutes.
- At 8:00 am, you will begin trekking at the national park in Tetebatu through the forest.
- You will be required to plant trees before starting the cross-footpath and the river to Pos 1. In the jungle, we can observe a variety of wood species, moss, and naturally-cooked forest vegetables.
- After walking for three hours, we arrived in pos 2, where we broke for lunch for an hour.
- After that, continue the journey towards pos 3 (Pondok Belanda) for 2 hours, and camp here. Rest for 45 minutes, consume snacks and fruit, and relish the savanna on Mount Rinjani.
- Once you have had enough rest, our guide will lead you through the savanna to the Pelawangan Tetebatu 2.580 m for 45 minutes and camp here.
- During this time, you can enjoy the sunset, the new volcano, and the islands of Sumbawa.
- Dinner and sleep in tents.
Day Two Trekking:
- Rise early at 3:30 am for a continental breakfast consisting of bread, coffee, tea, or milk.
- Then, at 4:00 am, begin the 2-hour ascent to the summit of Sangkareang Mountain 3.200 m asl.
- Enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake Segara Anak, the majestic 3726 m mountain summit, the sunrise over Rinjani, and the islands of Sumbawa from the peak of the mountain, before returning to basecamp for 1.5 hours to rest and have breakfast.
- After finishing breakfast and getting enough rest, we return to (pos 2) for 1.5 hours and continue to (pos 1) for breaks and lunch.
- After lunch, continue down to Tetebatu village.
- We will transport you to the next location on the island of Lombok after you have finished taking a shower and changing clothes.
