Itinerary for 2D1N Trekking Timbanuh Crater Rim
Day 0: Arrival and Preparation
- We will pick you up from your location in Lombok (Kuta, Lombok Airport, Mataram, Senggigi, Bangsal, or elsewhere) and transfer you to Tetebatu, a charming village at the foot of Mount Rinjani.
- After check-in at your hotel, meet our team for a briefing about the trek.
- If time permits, enjoy a warm-up excursion to Tetebatu’s stunning rice fields and waterfalls.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest, preparing for the adventure ahead.
Day 1: Trek to Timbanuh Crater Rim
- 08:00 AM: Begin the trek at Rinjani National Park, starting with tree planting as part of an eco-initiative.
- Hike through lush forests, crossing rivers and footpaths, while discovering diverse vegetation and edible forest plants.
- 11:00 AM: Arrive at Pos 2 for a one-hour lunch break.
- 12:00 PM: Continue to Pos 3 (Cemara Nunggal) and set up camp after a two-hour trek.
- Rest and enjoy snacks while taking in the serene savanna.
- 4:30 PM: Ascend to Pelawangan Timbanuh (2,680m) for a spectacular sunset over Segara Anak Lake, the new volcano, and views of Sumbawa Island. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 2: Enjoy The View and Descent
- 06:30 AM: Enjoy the Sunrise View
- 07:00 AM: Prepare and Descend back to base camp for breakfast and rest.
- 09:00 AM: Begin the descent to Pos 2 (1.5 hours) and Pos 1, stopping for breaks and lunch.
- 12:30 PM: Arrive back at Timbanuh. Our car will transfer you to Tetebatu for a refreshing shower and change of clothes.
- Afternoon: Continue to your next destination in Lombok, completing your unforgettable trekking experience.
